Born in 1984, Mario has been drawing since forever. 

Studied drawing by himself, then took Comic Book Art courses during teenage years,
having participated since he was 16 years old in various projects, including indie super-
hero comics, and even his own characters.

The super-hero and manga fever passed during college, when he started to expand horizons
in comic art. Being presented to comics such as Bone, Strangers in Paradise, Sandman, 
Will Eisner's works, Fabio Moon and Gabriel Ba's works, and several other adult stories,
the turning point was made.

Worked with vitrals, design, teaching kids, teaching adults, creating logos, sites, playing drums,
photoghraphing music and dance shows, what he loves the most is what this sites presents:
Sequential Art, Illustrations, and in a more broad approach, Art in general.
  
Graduated in Visual Arts by one of the top universities in Brazil (UNICAMP), he now works
with Sequential Arts, Illustration and teaching Sequential Art and Illustration.

Having published in several comic anthologies and magazines in Brasil, USA and UK,
he dedicates his time between writting and drawing his creator-owned comic series, 
entitled Pieces, and freelance projects for editors and publications worldwide.
